Woodle Books is an independent company set up by me, Aimee. I have a City & Guilds qualification in Bookbinding and completed an internship at Windsor Castle. I have worked at a top London Bookbinders for 5 years but I decided to start my own company in October 2017.  Founded on the principle of putting the client first I will always ensure I work in collaboration with you from beginning to end.

I have written a book about Book Binding - I began this in 2020 in the lock down and completed it for publishing in June 2021. To say i’m proud is an understatement. i loved the process of writing this book, i learnt a lot about myself as well! It’s a beginners book to introduce you to the world of book binding. I love the craft and hope it brings you joy as well.

My attention to detail and genuine love of this craft makes each Woodle Book a unique and much loved item.

I am never happier than when i’m working away in my cosy studio in my Gardenon the East Kent Coast.  Using top quality materials is important to me, I love the beautiful papers made by Jemma Lewis, Jannah Werning, Noi Papers and Alphablots. These papers have been obsessed over as much as I obsess over my books so I know I can always trust they will be of the highest quality. Their unique design and centuries old techniques add modern and traditional touches to any Woodle Book.

Here at Woodle Books gender equality and female empowerment are important, which is what inspired my collection of notebooks with strong feminist messages.
