Having moved recently and inherited a massive garden ith the house i have made myself a gardening journal so i can keep on top of jobs i want to do, jobs i have done and jobs that need to be done seasonally.

This journal has entries spread over two pages - written instructions/ideas on the left and a page to draw that idea/instruction on the right.
