I think this is a great quote for women out there. I was always getting told off when i was younger from not being very lady like - I would sit with. my legs open in a skirt not realising that you ‘aren’t meant to do such things’ this whole be more lady like just stems back to the Patriarchy trying to control what women are allowed to do, things are considered to not be very lady like - typically very male dominated activities, jobs etc.. well to that i so phooey! There aren’t things than men and women can do better, such binary ways of looking at the world are old fashioned and outdated.
i would hope that more people decide to be less ‘dignified’ and allow themselves to just be happy.
